Healthcare Heroes: Hern & Crabtree’s Christmas Campaign to Support Hospital Patients and Workers

This Christmas, Hern & Crabtree are proud to launch our ‘Healthcare Heroes’ campaign, a heartwarming initiative designed to bring joy and comfort to patients and healthcare workers at the University Hospital of Wales. By collecting essential and thoughtful items from the Cardiff community, Hern & Crabtree aim to make the festive season brighter for those spending it in hospital.

Why the ‘Healthcare Heroes’ Campaign Matters

While Christmas is a time of celebration for many, it can feel isolating for patients unable to be home and for the dedicated healthcare workers on duty during the festive period. The ‘Healthcare Heroes’ campaign provides an opportunity for the Cardiff community to come together and spread kindness, making a meaningful difference during the Christmas season.

Mike Baillie, Director at Hern & Crabtree, shares the inspiration behind the campaign: “We’re thrilled to bring the Cardiff community together to support our local hospital this Christmas. What We’re Collecting

To make a meaningful impact, the campaign is calling for donations of the following items:

• Cosy blankets

• Toiletries and self-care products

• Non-perishable snacks

• Books, puzzles and games

• Festive treats and small luxuries

• Boxes of chocolates to share across hospital wards

Where and When to Donate

Donations will be accepted until Monday, 16th December 2024, at the following Hern & Crabtree offices:

• Heath Office: 304 Caerphilly Road, Cardiff, CF14 4NS

• Pontcanna Office: 87 Pontcanna Street, Cardiff, CF11 9HS

• Llandaff Office: 8 Waungron Road, Cardiff, CF5 2JJ

The Hern & Crabtree team will personally deliver the donations to the University Hospital of Wales on Tuesday, 17th December 2024.
